Greetings!

The last moments of April have bid their goodbyes, and the month of May has arrived full of fragrant flowers and the colors of new life.  Trees show off their bright green leaves as though wearing a new coat, flowers are blooming amidst the growing grasses, animals frolic as they relish the sun's warmth....the heady scents of new life fills the air.  The month of May heralds the celebration of Beltane, a time of fertility and growth. As in days of old, we dance around the Maypole and jump the Beltane fire in anticipation of what the promise of summer might bring.  May this time of lush growth awaken your own senses, and may you embrace your passions in all that you do.

Celtic Myth is in the midst of its own awakening, looking forward to another season of Celtic festivities as well as new products within the shop.  Sandi and I recently attended the Irish Show, and are excited with the many new items we ordered.  We found a wonderful line of leather sporrans at the show, and hope to have them in the shop before Father's Day.  Look for suede "Druid Pouches" for the ladies, perfect for the upcoming Celtic faires which will abound.  Silk scarves featuring Celtic and fairy designs should be arriving shortly, as well as mood rings and enameled pill boxes from Ireland.  New jewelry designs by Kit Heath of Ireland, traditional pewter wares by Mullingar Pewter, and linking pewter marriage goblets should be here in time for those early summer weddings.

May also brings Mother's Day.  To celebrate her special day, all Kit Heath and Cathedral Collection jewelry will be 15% off.  This special jewelry sale will be held from May 1st through May 10th.  Happy Mothers Day to you!
