Reading Pagans & Witches began in October, 2004, as a discussion group and a face to face social gathering for the local community.  From our meager beginning with only one person at our first meeting to having almost four dozen people attending our meetings less than a year later, our group has grown.  Our online community currently boasts over 200 members.

In addition to our twice-monthly group meetings, we hold once-monthly youth group meetings.  Each December we host a Yule Ball where guests dress in everything from full formal gear to Renaissance gear and come out for a great evening with music, food, and friends.  2007 was a very busy year for us as we added three big events to our annual events calendar:

• Imbolc Gathering & Expo - a day of vendors, healers, readers, ritual, kids' activities, and discussions

• PA May Faire - in 2009 we are looking to expand this back to a 2-day event

• Reading Pagan Pride Day - a day of education, ritual, and merriment

We also are currently involved in community service projects, including Pennsylvania’s Adopt-A-Highway project, working with Berks Women in Crisis, and are WitchVox sponsors.
