Imbolc, Candlemas, Groundhog's Day... Come hear the history and meaning of this time of year to different cultures and what it means to us today. What is a neopagan warrior today? Why do we need warriors in neopaganism today? Is there a connection between Brigid and warriors? All this and more will be discussed.

Whether you work with runes, bones or simply popsicle sticks with personal symbols, come learn about how the staves may lay as being just as important as the symbols on them. After basics are introduced, discussion on how to use staves for divination and personal improvement will follow. Come explore the triple aspects of Brigid through guided meditation. We will be visiting Brigid of the Cauldron, the Bards and of the Forge. A short discussion will follow the meditation.
   
Basic Bellydancing Make a Joyful Noise: Using Song in Ritual & Spellcraft

Prepare to shake and shimmy! Iszabella will present a basic bellydance workshop adding in her tribal fusion as things go. Few things are more powerful than voices raised in song--unless it is voices raised in song for ritual and spells! This workshop will explain a little bit of the "science" behind singing, offer vocal exercises to use in order to train one's voice, and give examples of how (and why) to use singing in everyday magickal situations, including the Lesser Banishing Ritual and invoking the Goddess, as well as an example of an entire ritual built from song.
   
Woodcraft and Witchcraft Practical Spellcraft

Come hear about the woodcraft movement in America that helped form and mold Wicca in the early 1900's throughout both World Wars that brings us to modern witchcraft as so many are familiar with it today. A bite of history, not often heard or talked about, that helped blend the connections between man, nature and spirit and helped give an alternative to various people looking for a nature based path. A workshop that will cover the basics of spells and spellcrafting, including how to cast a spell and why spells can go wrong or 'fail'.
