We support local charities, including
Berks Women in Crisis with
things such as adopting families for the Holidays and donating appliances
and other household goods as well as monetary and food donations.
Berks Women in Crisis provides services to
victims of domestic and sexual violence. If you'd like to help by
volunteering or donating, you can find information on their site as well.
In 2005 we joined the
Adopt-A-Highway program. We have adopted a stretch of Route 12 in
Muhlenberg Township. Since joining the efforts to keep our highways clean
we have picked up over 200 bags of trash, two dozen tires, and a dishwasher.
Since we joined, we have
sponsored the website WitchVox to help
keep it an ad-free and fee-free resource.
As of 2007 we are sponsors of the
Reading Pagan Pride Day. The mission
of the Pagan Pride Project is to
foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and
community.
It is our goal to complete our
application for 501-c-3 non-profit status.
